IRAN, Pahlavis. Reza Shah, AH 1304-1320 / AD 1925-1941. Order of Pahlavi (Nishân-i-Pahlawi) (Gilt Silver and Enamel, 95 mm, 165.85 g), Breast Star, 1st Class. By Arthus-Bertrand, Paris, after 1932. Four brown and blue enameled Pahlavi Crowns forming a cross, set on rays; in center, Medaillon with Mount Damavand in front of rising sun, within white enamel ring with two branches dividing 'Pahlavi' and '1304'. Pin with silver and manufacturer's hallmarks. A very rare and highly impressive example of the highest order of Imperial Iran. A tiny enamel chip on the upper left ray, otherwise, good extremely fine.
